Meet the Staff
Shooters HQ strives to create an environment where players learn the game from some of the best trainers, coaches, and mentors in the game.

Beyond that, we want to invest in each and every player spiritual and be a positive role model that points them towards Jesus Christ every day.
Founder & Director of Shooters HQ
Justin Lovvorn
Justin started Shooters HQ in 2020 with the goal of helping players at every level reach their highest potential. He has helped players from middle school to the NBA level elevate their shooting & scoring ability, with the results to prove it. In his time as a college player, Justin was a 3x Conference Champion and capped off his career with a Sweet 16 run at Oral Roberts University (DI).
Lead Team Program Coach
Garrett Beene
Garrett has been with Shooters HQ since 2021, helping numerous players improve their shooting mechanics, while also helping build the HQ Team Program to a highly competitive grassroots level. Garrett was a collegiate player at LeTourneau University & is a current HS coach as well.
Director of Discipleship
Joshua Wilchcombe
Joshua Wilchcombe is a former professional basketball player, who most recently played for Hyvinkaan Ponteva in Finland's1st Division. He currently serves as our Director of Discipleship, leading all Shooters HQ athletes in daily group devotionals and personal 1:1 mentorship.
Team Program & Skills Coach
Beau Barnes
Beau Barnes joins us this year. serving as a high school coach in the Shooters HQ Team Program. Beau was a decorated collegiate athlete and currently referees many high-level games in the DFW area during the winter, scholastic season.
Team Program Coach
Cameron Kahn
Cameron Kahn is in his third year as a Team Program Coach for Shooters HQ. Cam is currently a professional player in England, following a decorated collegiate career at Dallas Baptist. In his time at DBU, he was four-time All-Conference and an All-American selection. He led DBU to their first DII Final Four appearance in history, and now invests in our players at Shooters HQ during the spring and summer when he is home from competing overseas.
Director of Operations
Aiden Scholz
Aiden Scholz serves as the Shooters HQ Director of Operations, assisting the staff in off-the-court operations for the program, in addition to his role as a Team Program Coach. He is currently a manager for the Women's Basketball Program at Texas Tech University.
