Justin Lovvorn

Justin started Shooters HQ in 2020 with the goal of helping players at every level reach their highest potential. He has helped players from middle school to the NBA level elevate their shooting & scoring ability, with the results to prove it. In his time as a college player, Justin was a 3x Conference Champion and capped off his career with a Sweet 16 run at Oral Roberts University (DI). Justin is also the Head Varsity Coach at Southwest Christian School.

Garrett Beene

Garrett has been with Shooters HQ since 2021, helping numerous players improve their shooting mechanics, while also helping build the HQ Team Program to a highly competitive grassroots level. Garrett was a collegiate player at LeTourneau University & is a current HS coach as well.

Joshua Wilchcombe

Joshua Wilchcombe is a former professional basketball player, who most recently played for Hyvinkaan Ponteva in Finland's1st Division. He currently serves as our Director of Discipleship, leading all Shooters HQ athletes in daily group devotionals and personal 1:1 mentorship. 

Beau Barnes

Beau Barnes joins us this year. serving as a high school coach in the Shooters HQ Team Program. Beau was a decorated collegiate athlete and currently referees many high-level games in the DFW area during the winter, scholastic season.

Preston Lawrence

Preston Lawrence is in his third year as a Team Program Coach for Shooters HQ. Preston is a decorated college athlete, finishing his playing career at nationally-ranked Nelson University this year. As a coach with Shooters HQ, Preston has invested in the development of players all the way from middle school to unsigned seniors.

Aiden Scholz

Aiden Scholz serves as the Shooters HQ Director of Operations, assisting the staff in off-the-court operations for the program, in addition to his role as a Team Program Coach. He is currently a manager for the Women's Basketball Program at Texas Tech University.

Braden Lee

Braden Lee (CSCS) is our newest addition to the coaching staff. He is a recent Baylor University graduate and performance intern for SMU & EAD in Dallas, TX. He currently serves as a MS Team Coach and Skills Coach for Shooters HQ.

In addition to our year-round coaching staff, we have a group of in-college and college-bound former players who contribute to our practice, skills, and tournament coaching staff. These guys provide a youthful, energetic presence and great mentorship to the younger players in the program.
